TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocol (IP addressing, basic diagnostic and
troubleshooting tools)
- Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and related services
- Windows (XP/Vista/Seven) and Mac (OS X 10.3 and later) operating systems
- Good understanding of consumer and small office network equipment (SOHO routers,
switches, etc)
- Good understanding of WiFi technology (access point configuration including channel
selection, security, etc)
- Cabling experience helpful
- Good understanding of consumer and small office Internet connectivity (DSL, Cable,
T1)
- Those interested in high-end home systems work should be able to configure wireless game systems
GENERAL
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills – personality plus
- Availability during normal business hours (9-5, M-F) as well as evenings and weekends
as necessary. Please let us know if you are available only part of this time.
- Overall technology aptitude and willingness to learn new things
